I am so lucky to have such an awesome house guest this week. The uber talented, Jennifer Mercede is in town getting ready to travel up to Solvang with Pam Garrison to teach at the Art Clinic. This is going to be an awesome event. The two of them are teaching together this weekend , I am so bummed that I will not be able to make it. You might be able to squeeze in if you are in the area or wanting to take a road trip. I can only imagine how much fun this event is going to be, they are both very generous teachers. The picture shown above is Jennifer's self portrait that she did for me on my house painting. Love it!
It has been so much fun having her creative energy around. I love watching her at work, the paintings above are some that she is working on while staying here.
Last time Jennifer was in town I bought this painting from her. You can see the painting hanging in my house in the photo shown below. Heather took the photo for her on- line magazine Souvenir, my house was featured in the Summer issue.
The paintings above show Pam and Jennifer's paintings together. They really do compliment each other.
