Wow, what a weekend I had! I spent all day Saturday and Sunday at my friend, Jenny Doh's art studio, Studio Crescendoh. I took a painting class taught by the amazingly talented, Jennifer Mercede.
I first saw Jennifer's artwork in person at the Lab in Costa Mesa, I was totally blown away.
The two photos shown above were taken at the lab, to show you just a glimpse of how cool her mural is.
Inside Jenny's studio the paints were out and the gals were busy working away on their canvas's.
This was Jennifer's first teaching gig but you would have thought she was an old pro at it. Not only was she an amazing teacher she is a lovely person with a great spirit. She taught all of us some exercises on loosening up while painting. One of the techniques was by blind folding us. I was actually quite surprised on how uptight I was with my doodles. So glad I had this experience!!
The photo above is of Jennifer and I, she is holding the painting that she created as a demo during class.

what a fun looking class to take from this talented artist.............does she teach all over the US or just in California?
