I have been in love with a painting hanging on the wall in Bloomingdale's at South Coast Plaza for about a year. I made it my task to figure out who the artist was today. So up and down the escalator I went until I could find and actually read the name of the artist.HIs name was written on a small 2" by 1" card next to the painting. I am sure I looked like a crazy lady going up and down the escalator with my phone shooting photos the whole time. With little luck. At least now I know who this artist is and I am determined to own one of his painting.
The photos below are pictures that I took of the painting that I love.
As you can tell by the photos it is not very easy to take a photo from your phone of something while moving on an escalator!! The artist of the painting is named Micheal Cutlip. Here are a few more photos of his work!! Love His work soooo much!!
Ooooooh, I like this work too - thanks for sharing. I can just picture you riding up and down the escalator trying to see the tag :)

I love collage and mixed media and know Michael's work. I am in fact paying off one of his pieces!
Also look up Rosalie Gascoigne. Different style but similar use of colour and texture.

I sure hope Sundance is paying you a design fee. Page after page, it's all you. Especially the new ruby rondelle thing and the rainbow necklace. I wonder how that makes you feel.
