Inspiration can come from a variety of different places. It can come from going to the ocean and looking at the marine life which might make you think about combining different textures. Going to a fair or carnival can stimulate you to use color combinations that you never thought of using together before. Or sometimes you can turn to your own environment, things around you that you use every day to stimulate you. Today I was searching for some stimulation and challenged myself to find something in my own home. I started pulling out a bunch of different shoes and boots and started taking photographs of them. It was really fun to look at the construction of them. I really found them very interesting it very fascinating and inspirational. Even the tags can spark something inside of you . I thought I would share them with you in hopes that you may look at something around your environment in a different way. I am going to start with this sassy pair of shoes that I just found at Target. I love it when Target carries designer pieces. I think that I like the logo inside of the shoes as much as I like the shoes.
I love the rhinestones and faded silver tones of these two pairs of shoes
The texture of the leather rose on this pair of vintage pumps is very stimulating. I love vintage shoes........
The plastic heal and clasp against the leather is such a great mixture................
And talk about color this make me want to start playing with some rubies and sapphires!
Last but not least is my favorite pair of boots. My Fiorentini + Baker three buckle boots that I dreampt about for over a year and half before I bought them. Look at the bottom of the boots they are constructed beautifully. The leather is like butter...............
Happy Hunting!

Seriously? Target? They look like something that Juicy Couture would have! I'm gonna have to make a little jaunt over there!

I love shoes!!! Can't help it, and yes when you put on a pair, they do inspire! They make you feel pretty. Then you take them off and put them back on the display shelf. But, oh, for a moment...

Those boots look amazing and I love the leather flower on the shoes. What woman can resist a good pair of shoes. Ok..they don't even have to be comfy...just look good:-)

Hello. These happen to be my wife's favorite boots as well as I have watched her drool over them and show the website to her friends. One thing I noticed or thought of is the leather flap on the side as you walk. Does it fold over in a sloppy fashion? I wanted to buy them for her, but was concerned. Maybe it's not as bad as I think and next gift occasion she will be able to unwrap these!!?!.
Thanks, Ryan

I have a pair of Fiorentini+Bakers - they are the best boots money can buy for sure! I also love those Target ones - they sell out in a flash here at my LA Target, but I saw plenty while on vacation in Central, Wisconsin - guess they've got different taste there?
